Was in need of a quick, healthy lunch after returning from a rather rushed Myanmar trip. Noticed this sort of fast food type of outlet at Calamvale in the shopping centre & thought I would try the vegetable burgers. The food was quickly prepared, wrapped in paper with a rather soft, tasty bun with a cabbage mixture inside. Of course the sauces on the tables added more heat & spice for me, verdict- simple, tasty & very inexpensive
Located in calamvale central. You can access the from outside and also inside the shipping centre. Big portion, very reasonably priced. Clean decor.Lots of meat in meat dish which is happiness.
Really surprised by the low ratings here. This place seems to be always busy and the fresh hand made noodles are very authentic and has great texture. One of my favourite dishes is the tomato and egg noodle. The vermicelli hot pots are also great. Very filling, good portions, clean and balanced flavours. Service is always polite and friendly on the few ocassions I have been here.
Bookmarked this eatery since I read Kan Do’s review four months ago. Visited for dinner last night around 5:30pm. Since they do not have a break in the afternoon, so there was already a table occupied. Read the menu and found it is quite broad. We referred the list of top 10 street-food in Xian when we watched a TV program so ordered the set M1 with Original Cold Noodle + One Mini Burger and the Shredded Pancake in Mutton Soup. The set M1 came in very quick (did not expect because our friends told us that it took a long time to wait for the dishes). I could not judge if the Cold Noodle texture was authentic but I could tell the taste was just delicious with well balanced in flavour 4/5. Mini burger was not the best in terms of the texture of the bun but again there was no complaint on the taste 3/5. Then the soup came in which took 10 minutes. By the time that I looked at the soup, honestly, those diced noodles attracted my attention and so I searched the google and found that it was the correct way to make the soup. The mutton was tender and we could tell that they prepared the soup with slow-cooked method and it was very rich 4.5/5; however, I personally thinkit was slightly pricy as compared to the other dishes on the menu. Overall, love to see another choice of eateries around for dinner. It is recommended.
It’s winter and inside the restaurant it was about 18 degrees, service was horrendous, the food was less to be desired as it lacked flavour and the wait was not able to be justified. Not happy!
Nice, clean, efficient food at a reasonable price. Good portion.I ordered the tomato and egg rice dish which came with 3 sides. I guess the food wasn’t quite to my taste. Maybe I’m not used to this style of cuisine. I previously had a tomato and egg dish at a North West Chinese place so I was kinda hoping for something similar. It was still a good dish nevertheless and I particularly enjoyed the wood ear fungus side. Nice and garlicky with a bit of heat. There are small bins on the side of the tables. Not quite sure what they’re for? Also, although ‘Fusion’is in the name, I couldn’t see anything that was particularly fusion in the cuisine.Would come back and try their noodle dishes. instagram.com
Mrs Kan Do and I went here for lunch and ordered the cold noodle salad with veges and pork mince, the stewed beef brisket with rice, mini pork ‘burger’ and the beef and pickled cabbage noodle soup. The cold noodle salad was an excellent and refreshing dish and rates a 4.The stewed beef brisket did not have much flavour, although the meat was cooked to tenderness. I would rate this a 2.5. The mini pork ‘burger’ was tasty with a nicely toasted bun. I would rate this a 3.5The beef and pickled cabbage noodle soup contained the noodles that we saw being handmade, however, the dish did not suit our palate and we did not enjoy the flavour. I would rate this dish a 2. The quantities for the prices here are reasonable.
