I love this place. Tucked snuggly into Sunnybank’s suburbia, Cafe S152 is close to a buffet favourite Korean fried chicken Seoul Bistro a few doors down and is a pleasant Asian cafe that oozes calm and friendly vibes. Off street parking is readily available and is never extremely busy so you’ll always get a seat, either indoors or a few outdoor seats too. Temperature control inside seems to have been left to equatorial beings since it’s been quite warm inside, to the point we’ve been sitting outside to escape those summer vibes.I absolutely love the drinks here, the milkshakes are incredibly rich and full of flavour and the original bingsoo is just lovely. I recommend the Banoffe, which is a banana milkshake with two shots of expresso, although a little expensive, it’s expression of love in your mouth is incredible!Definitely a place for cute dates and catch-ups with friends, you can even study there as I saw some people doing. It even has a little play area for young children.
Met up with friends for desserts and always wanted to try this place out. I ordered the Hot Cherry Blossom drink (for $5) and we all shared the Red Bean Ice Crush ($12.50 – which is cheap when splitting the cost between others). The drink was quite disappointing (was not pink and the lady said that there was a fragrance of flowers with white chocolate in it but I did not taste or smell any flowers – just tasted like a hot white chocolate shake). The Red Bean Ice Crush Dessert was interesting though (not a huge fan of red bean but with the ice (and nuts?) on top, the flavours balanced well with each other. Plus, I like how they provided 3 small bowls so it can easily be shared. The staff were very friendly (they all have bright smiles and always willing to give a hand if you need anything). The atmosphere was lovely with photographs on the walls, newspapers and board games available and a little kids play pen area in the corner. This place seems like the perfect hang out place to catch up with friends (its kid friendly) or its a perfect quiet place for studying (it has a relaxing feel to it). Lovely service, wouldnt mind coming back!
