Set in the shop that was previously Miel Container(‘s second shop), Fill the Bowl has slotted in quite comfortably as a newish Mala Tang place in downtown Sunnybank. Atmosphere: i went at the open for lunch… Started filling up quite quickly after that. Not a bad to sit eat and chat. They have a little condiment bar with all the required accoutrements. Decor: cool industrial – wooden benvhes and dark metal pipes. Food/menu: had some unique choices in the buffet, including ox tongue, pork intestine and tofu noodles. The soup that came with my selection was thin and underseasoned; however, for the first time in the times I’ve mala tang and ordered mild (chilli heat) it was served mild. Luckily I could adjust my soup with a little sesame paste and soy sauce. Verdict: actually quite good – loved the atmosphere and the buffet choice. Value for money was not bad.
