The best Xinjiang restaurant in QLD!! It is 100% Halal, and they have really yummy food! They were the original owners of the GC restaurant in Southport and St Lucia. I’m a regular at the restaurant (visited more than 20 times) and I have not been disappointed so far. You must try the variety of skewers especially the lamb, the “Da pan ji” dish which literally means big plated chicken and the famous beef noodle soup. The yogurt is also addicting and comes in 2 flavours, I recommend the mango yogurt! It’s a must go too restaurant!! 🙂 10/10
Located just next to the 6 Po Hot Pot, this new eatery does shed its glory in the area. Visited it last night. Although there are only a few tables, customers come and go that makes the chef very busy in food preparation.Ordered a Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup, a stir-fried black fungus, two skewers of lamb and chicken wings each and two of the lassi for drinks. Ordered came very smoothly. Although we ordered no shallot or parsley in the noodle soup, the taste and the broth are just so delicious and authentic. Black fungus was a let down due to the fact that it was too bland but too much garlics. Skewers save a lot of marks and are much better than those that we had at the Afanti Uyghur restaurant the other day. The texture of both lamb and chicken wings are juicy with strong charcoal taste. Highly recommended to try these skewers. Thumb-up!
