Have not been back for nine months so checked it out last week. We noticed that it started to have a gimmick of charcoal-grilled the pork chop at the shop front so ordered a beef skewer, chicken noodle soup and beef pho.Beef skewers were too dried and chicken was over cooked. Having said that the pho gained marks back because its soup base was very rich flavour and the noodle was silky. We still love the one in Inala. Maybe the first impression is always the best.Rating 3.5/5Last visit: Feb 2019 rating 4/5
Kan Do and I visit for dinner tonight. We decide on their Signature Combination Beef Pho ($14). Our piping hot Noodle Soup is served in 5 minutes. The serving is much larger than my last meal here. A generous serve of Pho noodles, sliced Beef Brisket, Raw Beef, Beef Tendon, Beef Tripe and Beef Balls. A wonderful and satisfying meal!
We have seen this place open a while back and time to try some of the pho. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, but with 2 kids sleeping in the car, we got takeaway.Service was friendly and we ordered 1 special pho and 1 special broken rice combination. Pricing was $14 and $13, which is about that what you pay else where. Got given and buzzer and waited. Surprising the order was received reasonably quickly.The pho was easily reassembled, just reheated stick on the stove and everything else in a bowl and we have hot pho. Wife’s rice dish was decent and easy to eat out of the bento style container. Her only issue was with the pork chop and shredded pork, i ate it it was ok. Maybe the marinate and the shredded pork as little salty.The broth of the pho was a little on the sweet side, it was clear, plenty of meat, and what comes with the special. Was satisfied after the meal. Maybe sit in on the next visit. Has to be one of the better takeaway pho, I have had.
