Re-visited this Vietnamese restaurant @ Market Square for a second review after three years. It was early 5:45pm so business was not that busy yet. We ordered the Spring rolls, Special Combination Beef noodle soup (Pho Dac Biet) and the Spicy Beef Soup (Bun Bo Hue). Honestly, maybe I had better of the same kind somewhere in Brisbane (not to mention the experience in Vietnam), both of the soup noodles are slightly let down. Ingredients of both noodle are good enough in terms of the varieties but the noodles are not as silky for Pho Dac Biet & not elastic enough for Bun Bo Hue. Soup bases are not as strong flavour. Importantly, service lack of friendly smile and attitude. I am slightly disappointed this time :(Jun 24, 2015 Rating 3.5/5One of the two busy Vietnamese restaurants at Market Square Food Precinct. This tiny restaurant is always busy and full of satistified diners. I always go there to have early lunch in order to avoid waiting for table. Food is good with consistant standard. I like that they provide you the choice of different size of Ph to fit individual diner’s appertite. Pho with special beef is my favorite because they have a wide range of beef offals in it. Soup base of the Pho is good (Of course, I won’t compare with those I had at HCMC & Hanoi). Don’t forget to order the salads and Vietnamese rolls, they are all my favorites.
