Have not visited this Japanese eatery after its face-lifted so gave it a go. Honestly, I dont think there is any change including lay-out and food. Ordered a Spicy Pork miso bowl and a Pork Cutlet Curry Bowl with additional items when we went past the hot food area. Food was consistent with average standard but competitive prices. Taste was passable but no extra-ordinary surprise..Rating 3.5/5Dec. 14, 2016 Rating 3/5Have not been back to this new-named eatery even it is located just around the corner of where I am working. Eventually took the chance to have a quick lunch and found nothing change with respect to the old Mappen except limited choices. Food is no better than before but as what I saw the chef preparing the noodles and let the excess boiled water dripped on the floor that made me not quite comfortable. Still much appreciate its system of saving human resources on looking after ordering and tidy-up the table (all the diners are so co-operated to take the used dishes to the window for the kitchen-staff).
