This place is definitely a hidden gem. The shop looks small and quiet on the outside, but when we entered there were decent amount of seatings with many local Korean customers. They serve good value for money jjajangmyeon, jjamppong and other dishes during they special lunch hour.

It was one of those really hot day and I just had to get out from my house to somewhere cool. I chose this neighbouring Korean food joint for this gateway and I was pleasantly surprised. When I entered the restraunt I was welcomed by staff with lovely smile. Great start. The interior is simple but clean. And most importantly lovely aircon!!!Oh my, I loved loved their fried chicken. It was just the right amount of spicy with hint of sweetness. Chicken was juicy and fresh with crunchy skin – just the way I like it. Seafood noodle was also nice. Serving was huge and it was more than enough to share with two people. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back to have that chicken again.

Great place to get a feed quick and fill the tummy up..Always go with our favourite the N1 – Black Bean sauce with noodle – ask for the scissors so you can cut it in half and then slurp away 🙂 then either the R4 – Soft Bean Curd and minced pork in chilli bean rice or D2 – The Sweet Sour Pork – the small serving is really a large one – so share this one… A can of soft drink, sides and TV in the back ground, this is not a 5star restaurant, come eat go – be happy – and full! Excellent value for money – will not disappoint. parking at rear of building.

Tried this place after a recommendation from friends we had the set menu B however I was a bit disappointed regarding the taste. Decor was not very appealing and the smell of the kitchen was strong. On the plus side, they gave complimentary soft drinks. May try again for lunch specials

This small restaurant opposite the Sunnybank train station and well away from the busy restaurant scene at Market Square, Sunnybank Plaza, Sunny Park and Pinelands Plaza seems to be very popular with Brisbane’s Korean community. We tried the the famous zha jiang mien (chewy wheat noodles in fermented soy bean paste) and deep fried chicken in spicy sweet and sour sauce. We thought that the noodles were a little bland but we loved the chicken – very tasty and spicy. We look forward to trying some of the other dishes on the menu. Thanks Ronnielui2003for the review – without which we would never have discovered this Korean gem!!

The best place for jjajangmyun in Brisbane and Gold Coast.I will always make the effort to drive here just to eat jjajangmyun here. (black bean noodle)I also highly recommend the spicy seafood soup with noodles, the thick seafood soup with noodles, the deep fried pork with sweet-sour sauce and deep fried pork with spicy sweet-source sauce.I mean, this is the most authentic korean restaurant for these foods, and the prices are great! Will always remain a loyal customer!

I mean to explore this restaurant for a long time and eventually made my promise last week. Located opposite to Sunnybank railway, this hidden gem really did the authentic Korean Chinese cuisine. Dining area is not big and it was full-house after 15 minutes that we was in at early 5:45pm. Ordered the Spicy Seafood Soup, Stir Fried Clear Noodle with Pork and Rice and also the renowned Korean Deep-fried Chicken. Taste reflected fusion of Korean and Chinese cuisines which delivered what it should be for the heat element. Glass noodle was done perfect and needless to say the deep-fried chicken was the hero of the night. Although the chicken was mixed with sauces, you could still appreciate the crunchinessfrom the skin and importantly the juiciness inside the meat. It was a really marvellous job and I highly recommend it.
