Went on holiday to Queensland and ate here because it was close to the shore, the view was nice but the waitresses made so many mistakes with our order and spilled water all over our table. Not sure how trained they were exactly, although they were quite patient. The food was quite average, not extraordinary for the price paid.
Great location service a little rushed on arrival but the staff are friendly and accommodating and the menu selection is pretty decent. Good breakfast feast if a tad expensive, avo with egg and eggs Benedict a winner. Coffee ok
My friends and I were staying on the Coast and went here Saturday morning around 9.30 am. We ordered our drinks after about 10 minutes and then our meals 5 minutes after that. Our drinks took approximately 10 minutes to come out and were fine. After waiting an hour for our meals, we asked a waitress how much longer it would take and she said she would get the Manager. The Manager came over and said she would check exact times and we let her know if it was going to be another half an hour we would be going somewhere else. She came back and said it would be 15 minutes. We said ok we will wait but relayed our frustration as not being given any advice when we were seated about the long wait times. The Manager responded with okay I will note that down on our records!? Um what??? How is that going to make us want to come back? So another half an hour passed before our meals arrived. I had only ordered toast with 1 egg and bacon and the toast was stoned cold and not cooked properly. When we paid – again no mention of an apology, no offer of discount – nothing. Worst service and food I have come across in a very long time.
