  Tucked away on Hanlan St, you probably wouldn’t stumble across Fraiche Kitchen easily. We came here as we had a great value Groupon deal. And, yes, it was good value for what we got, but It’s not on my list of ‘must go back’ places for various reasons.When we arrived (five minutes after the morning opening time), the people working there seemed somewhat stunned that they had customers at that time. It was a bit odd. The service was a bit disjointed as they didn’t seem quite ready to start the day, but also it wasn’t the warmest and friendly vibe. The Groupon menu had an image of an açai bowl, so we were looking forward to these, however, were told that this was not included on the deal. Okay then. Instead, we ordered coffees and eggs Benedict to go (prefer to eat near the beach rather than in the dingy mall area). The food took about 25 minutes, but it was okay. The eggs had a vinegar taste, which I didn’t mind, but some people might not like it. Also, it was served on a piece of whole grain bread, not Ciabatta as the menu states. As above, I am not likely to return here unless I had a good deal again.

  Don’t go there unless you are starving! This cafe is not good! The coffee was burnt and the food was tasteless and prepared without any care. Bad location and not inviting at all! Sorry but this chef has to step up his game big time!!!
