We found this little gem out of pot luck! The food is absolutely amazing, drinks are even better. Being locals to the north side of the Gold Coast, we have found it quite hard finding a spot to get absolutely amazing food, service and drinks. This is it!! We have been back several times and love it!! I recommend this place highly. You won’t be disappointed

My friend found this place and we had a lovely dinner. We are 2 families with 4 active boys, after half day playing at the beach we are completely exhausted and carving for some Asian food to comfort our stomachs. We were hesitated when see the decor more like a wine bar, quite unusual for a Asian food restaurant. The staff are friendly who lead us upstairs. And the first dish already ensured us it’s a great place for cuisine. Creative use of Asia ingredients but present in a western style, great for both look and share. After several dishes we were pretty sure the chef is Chinese because they made such great “Bao” and nice sources which you will taste in fine restaurant South China. But to our surprise the chef is a Australian! No wonder ppl tells me you probably find the 1st class food in Australia because of great material and passionate people.I would like to give 5 star for the food and atmosphere, but I keep 1 because as a typical Chinese such a great meal full of flavor a well cooked small portions of rice will give a perfect ending.
From Melbourne where there is heaps of amazing Asian fusion food, and this has to be one of the best I’v had, stumbled on to Fu Manchu on a weekend away. Food was fantastic, serving sizes were great ( waiters gave us a good sense of how much food we needed) , service and food delivery was fast. Would go back 100%.
Wow what a fantastic restaurant! Delicious cocktails (try the Tom Yum Yum – lived up to it’s name), gorgeous dark interior and the food was AWESOME! Best Asian fusion restaurant we have ever been to. The kingfish was melt in your mouth, a surprise hit was the baby octopus salad and you definitely cannot visit without trying the wonton tacos – yum! The service was also spot on – knowledgeable and friendly. Though this isn’t one of the best known restaurants on the Gold Coast – it should be! I can’t wait to visit again!
