  I came across this fantastic Japanese restaurant in early May whilst spending a couple of nights on the Gold Coast . Just across my hotel this place is a gem. I work for the airlines and have spent many many nights in Japan and the food, ambience and staff are as if I am in Japan . Congratulations to Justin the owner and chef and Ami who was the waitress that looked after me. The service , food and hospitality was exceptional and of high standard. The food in my pics says it all , wow . The Sapporo beer on tap was sharp, crisp and cold. I can’t wait to visit again . Another plus is it’s open late . Loved your restaurant.   Came across Hamadori in Surfers Paradise quite by accident. We were doing the Surfers Paradise ‘walk’ and came across Justin. Talked, went in and refreshed ourselves with some excellent draft Sapporo beer. We went back another 3 nights before we had to leave and return home. I talked another couple into visiting. We met them there a little later. They had a great meal and were grateful for my information to go. The place is a little small but intimate. The service, food and attitude of Justin fantastic. We, the four of us, will definitely return. Thank you for a tremendous experience.
