We tried this new addition to Chevron Island restaurants & we’re glad we did.It has only recently opened next to Obsessions, the burger place.The kebabs were great & stood out from the pack because of the freshness & home cooked ingredients.The bread is soft and fresh, toasted on the grill, not in a big sandwich press. The chicken is also cooked fresh, not carved from the meat cooking on a rotisserie, keeping it moist.Kebabs are wrapped in foil & served on a plate. The friendly owner explained to us he makes his own garlic sauce in the traditional Lebanese style & it was delicious.Service was excellent – we were welcomed and engaged as new customers and were even given a complimentary serve of fries to try.We tried regular chicken kebabs, ($9) but there are other more interesting, larger offerings on the menu, including platters ($18), loaded fries, kebab stacks & kebabs with chips in them. Bonus points for having a kids mini kebab with small chips for only $7!!I’m sure this place will become popular, daytime & night time – it’s cheap, has great tasting fresh fast food in a shop which looks fun & funky.They even have ports to charge your electronic devices while you eat. Clever touch.Some parking is available out the front on Thomas Drive.
