This place has a fresh upmarket feel. Service was fast and attentive. The iced Caramel latte was a little burnt. The fresh fruit juice was served quickly and served with ice. We walking back from the river and heard an entertainer. We wouldn’t have come back if it wasn’t for the singer but me was amazing relaxing and added to the ambience. So we ordered breakfast. I had the smashed avo and the peanut butter and banana drink. They were both great so I have upgraded my rating to a 4.
The staff here were very nice. However the share plate for 2 was disappointing. I expected better for $45. The kimchi gyoza was very hard, I could only taste the flour batter when eating the chicken and the Nasi goreng had no flavour. The fish, chips and salad were yum but I was disappointed with the rest of the plate.
Best thing about this place is the music, decor and juice (self-created). After eating at Alfonz at Chevron Island yesterday, the breakfast here was disappointing to say the least. Tough “organic sourdough” which looked remarkably different from my plate to my partner’s and nearly threw my shoulder out cutting. Omelette that was runny and had very little fillings and breakfast bruschetta that was more like toast with eggs, bacon and cut up tomatoes. Meals aren’t very large and are somewhat more expensive. Berry-banana smoothie was more runny than a smoothie should be. Gave it a go, but we won’t be coming back here again for another $50 disappointment.
This place is amazing. The menu offers a decent amount of food and the food itself is delicious. My family and I really enjoyed our breakfast.The price is moderate and the service is excellent, quick and friendly. The cafe is open and family friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast.
What a great breakfast! Honestly we have been on the Gold Coast for a week and this is the best food I’ve eaten all week! The eggs were cooked perfectly.. white cooked through and the yolk runny! The avo was seasoned and the bacon cooked just enough. The staff were so lovely and attentive and really catered for my 19 month old.
