Surfers Paradise is a bit of a desert when it comes to finding good food. If you are spoilt by the dining scene in Melbourne you really will struggle to find anything of much interest here. It is pretty dumbed down. This place though was an exception. Mainly Korean standards but all well done and plenty of spice if you want it. Some interesting dishes too. Highly recommend.

One of the worst Korean BBQs I have ever had. Coming from Sydney and staying a week in surfers paradise my partner and I were craving Korean bbq. After walking around we had decided to go into here. The meat was mixed together in some kind of marinaide. Different cuts of meat weren’t identifiable as they were all chopped up and mashed together. Tasted disgusting and the sides are disappointing to add to it.

Each time we visit the Gold Coast we always have dinner at Koreana BBQ and have been doing so for many years.  The food is sensational.  The service is great as are the staff.  The Kimchi Fried Rice is magnificent as is the marinated beef with rice on a hotplate (which is very similar to beef bulgogi).  All the food is great – highly recommend it.

First time we have tried Korean BBQ. The BBQ portions could have been bigger I didn’t really see value for money. It was more like a snack option opposed to a meal. I guess they do this so you order more food to bring the bill up. Overall it was Nice but small.
