Went to here for an early dinner. Had the blackboard special of fish and chips. Lovely light batter ,firm well cooked fish. The salad was a little different from the normal salad with some semi dry tomatos thrown in. The mimosa had fresh orange juice. Staff helpful and friendly. I will go back.
Possibly the best dinner I’ve had on the coast! Went here twice because it was that great! Check it out! We went in a big group and everyone loved their meals.
Ordered a penne chicken and mushroom at lunch time, shared with my son. After eating 1/3 I found someone’s hair underneath a piece of chicken. Called a waiter to bring the food back to the kitchen, 2 mins later he came back and told me “that’s not hair, it’s from mushroom.” Of course, how can i forgot mushroom are hairy.
I had the Swordfish Salad. Absolute waste of money and piece of fish. They couldn’t have overcooked it more if they tried, it was so rubbery and dry, I didn’t bother finishing the rest of the meal. Why put raw brown onion into the salad as well? Also seemed to have a roasted or grilled squashed piece of lemon underneath all the leaves? What a disaster. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, not even at the same time. Only got served once; had to go pay the bill at the counter as I couldn’t get the attention of either of the three females working who were walking around the back of the restaurant not paying attention to actual table service. The prawn fajita that my friend had was alright, chips were slightly soggy and garlic aioli was bland. Wasn’t worth the money or the public holiday surcharge. Ended up walking away still hungry. Theres no point in eating out when I could’ve done about 50 times a better job at home. Disappointing.
