Positioned close to The Hilton I noticed this new cafe which happened to serve coffee late in the afternoon. They specialize mainly for fast food in sort of an up market venue. Have tried out Oliver Browns at Garden City (I think it was there?) The coffee didn’t cut it for me even with a double shot it wasn’t the hit I required. So my points are based only on the coffee the rest of the cabinet sweets etc looked to be OK
The place to come for all chocolate addicts ! Delicious rich chocolate drinks , you can tell they’re crafted with care ! Plus I had the baked churros which were a mouthwatering side treat, I was impressed that they weren’t oily or greasy ! Overall a wonderful/quiet place to come with a book/laptop or simply to share a a desert with friends
1) Crunchy balls hot chocolate (bottom left hot drink) 2) Sneaky Snickers (right hand side, cold drink). The drink was okay, wasn’t a favourite. First time trying this Korean styled cafe. Felt like a cheaper Max Brenna-kinda restaurant. The drink itself wasn’t a fav of mine ourly because it was just ‘slushied chocolate shake+ with 2 bits of small snicker bars. The main part that I didn’t like was that it had chunks of ice un blended evenly before served, so when I though I scooped up some chocolate, it was actually oart of an ice cube.
We came here after having dinner and decided to try their waffles for two with ice cream and their cookies and cream cake. Their waffles was good but not as crunchy as MB and their cookies and cream cake had a mix of mousse and chocolate base which we found very rich but would be great for someone who loves a rich choc hit. We were too full to try their cold drinks but maybe next time either at GC or back in Sydney.
