Very disappointed dinner. The ambiance is good so we thought the food should be good too. But it turned out very bad. Live fish is very sting. They don’t charge live fish by the weight but by each. $68 dollar silver perch is only around 6-700 grams. Veggies are not washed cleanly, there are sands inside. Very bad experience!!

We enjoyed our lunch here. We had fried rice with a black pepper steak dish, as well as some asian greens. The rice was good and the steak was beautifully cooked, but there was so much broccoli with it, we need not have ordered vegies as well.Our waiter was very friendly and engaging, though twice I ordered a drink which never arrived.The menu is traditional and extensive.We would return again to try some other dishes.
New Year Eve dinner, lack of staff. We arrived early when there’s only 2 tables outside with customers. Ordered over $200 worth of food. 2nd course of Peking Duck didn’t arrive even after everything has been finished. We waited and waited, didnt want to be late for the kids firework. One of the waiter was argumentative saying they are too busy(by then), but they weren’t busy when we placed the order. Eventually the lettuce wraps came and there were only 4, less than half the amount as expected. No complimentary fruits as other chinese restaurants after you spent over a certain amount. AND they charge $2.5 tea per person without telling you first, even kids who don’t drink tea. One waiter almost gave us a crab dish we didn’t order. I bet the initial missing dish was wrongly given to someone else. Rather than fixing their mistakes, they try to cut corners and rip customer off.
We were on a holiday at GC and were staying at Mantra Circle on Cavill. So wanted to have dinner from some where near and spotted this place. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choices and to top it all met David who took our orders ! He was a real character ! Funny man with lots of energy ! Me and my family just loved him. A big asset to the hospitality part of any restaurant. Carry on David with lot more of your energy and infectious enthusiasm!!
