Food was AMAZING! Service was AMAZING! We had one of the Teppanyaki banquets for the two adults and just got a Karachi chicken entree with a serve of rice for the kids. The soup and the fried rice were standouts as well as the showmanship from Max our chef! We had a few drinks and the end bill was not small, but totally worth it – a great night out.
We were dining at the restaurant right next to this one. Zushi’s dinner theatre could be heard throughout the whole area. It was unpleasant for everyone else except for the people yakking it up. I understand that is their thing but I didn’t chose to dine there so, please, leave us to enjoy our meal!! To top it off, some of their diners decided to smoke at their outdoor table, their smoke drifting to all the other outdoor tables. There is a no smoking law in Queensland where food is served. The staff at Zushi, when advised of this, did absolutely nothing! So, based on this lack of courtesy and respect for fellow diners, I will not be dining there.
Went here for the first time when we were in Surfers Beach vacationing. Awesome atmosphere with the chef doing cool tricks at the tables. He kept the kids entertained with a small cup juggling act and everyone loved it. The food was tasty, lovely view of the ocean and the stalls from our table. At the end of service the chef made a beautiful thank you note on the grill, lovely! Would definitely come here again!!
Great entertainment value. Be prepared to have food thrown at you however. Generous servings and kids loved the theatre. Food quality was only average. Not cheap but memorable!
