This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. First, yes the prices are a little higher than your usual fortitude valley property but this is definitely reflected in the quality of food and service. The service is unrivalled by any other Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. Each female leaves with an elegantly wrapped rose and patrons are treated to a hot towel with their meal. Even the bowls are different! Far from the plain stock white China bowls, the tables are dressed with floral decorated bowls and plates.
Good service but that’s where the positives stop. We had a party of 12 people and hence a large selection of dishes. The dishes were average and overpriced. Don’t bother
GREAT RESTAURANT. Everything is great about this restaurant. Fantastic service, great food and lovely atmosphere. Hot towels and every woman receiving a rose is a really nice touch. Will definitely visit here again and highly recommend.
Great night out!. This restaurant offered incredible service – so good in fact that it encouraged me to write my first review. I went here with family on a Saturday night and it was quite busy. The food was quite good, albeit a little on the expensive side (a standard dish being around the $25 mark). I didn’t mind the price when after our meal, we were brought hot towels and each woman was given a bunch of fresh lillies. The water that was brought out was served with a slice of strawberry and lime – a nice touch. When asked if it was a special occasion, we told them we were celebrating a birthday and as such, were given a bottle of wine that was nicely wrapped up! This is definitely service I’ve never experienced before and definitely made the price of the meal worth it.
Very Expensive. The service was great and th quality of food was okay/acceptable. However, this is the most expensive chinese restaurant I’ve been to. A dish of fried beans was over $26, our total that night was $110 for 3 dishes and rice, so seriously not worth the money.
Went here for dinner with my family. Food was delicious. Service was absolutely top quality. Could not fault it. All the ladies at the table got a single rose at the end of the night, and then they brought out little liqueur shots in edible chocolate cups and hot hand towels. Also the birthday girl got given a bottle of bubbly wrapped up by the owners at the end of the night. Top quality. Best service we have ever gotten. Will Definetly be back!
Look, it seems expensive compared to take-away… (eg $20 for large combination fried rice, $30 for garlic long prawns, etc) but you get twice as much per dish than takeaway shops, and the food is to die for. I live less than a kilometre away, and have dined here once a month for the past 13 years. Seriously, you have to try it to believe it. Dinner and drinks for 3 people cost $129, but the taste sensation is unbelievable, and staff are extremely polite. Just go there, you won’t be disappointed.
