Ckecked out this place in the morning. Agreed with other foodies review. Coffee is very good here, which is taste well with good strength. It is always a good time to enjoy my coffee in a peaceful ambience like what this cafe offers in early morning. Needless to say, it deserves my recommendation.

Go off Toohey Road down Fingal Street, then follow the signs down the drive way and you come to this little find right here. Just outside the entrance to Clark’s Lifestyle Center is a small store that is serving beverages to would-be members and cheapskates – much like my dining buddy and I are (coffee and whatnot, that is our game). After a bit of a high finding one new place nearby that was untried, to finish off business and say that we have tried them all it was off to here before heading back home. Suffice to say, with all that has been tried this area ain’t so bad with coffee shops at the moment, and Clark’s is an example of why. There is not that much to it in terms of design. We are talking about something that is in the middle of a car park, and one that is unpaved if anything. If it weren’t for a random sign pointing the way down the road, there would have been no way that I would know that this place exists. It has a few regulars who go there, and some of them have little kids (there are some toys and games for the children to play with). The girl working at the counter was really sweet, and a good, solid worker. Their menu consists of mainly beverages. Think of the usual tea and coffee, and they have those on offer. In addition, for the kids if they are tagging along, cold drinks such as milkshakes and smoothies can be readily made, and they shall be a sure fire hit. As for something to eat, they are a bit lacking here. It is mainly some protein balls, and perhaps some freshly baked sweets if you are lucky. Of course, being a coffee place it was none other than a doppio that I got. Feeling like I needed something to have on the side to eat, their mini muffins looked tasty so I got one. From memory, it might have been a chocolate flavour. The coffee was quite good, and all that you need to know before going is that it comes from Bellissimo beans (and the number of medals and awards they have should speak volumes). As per usual, it was given the right amount of justice – the texture was smooth, it was strong, and the flavour was a-okay with me. The muffin was soft, warm and had melted dark chocolate seeping out of it. With his coffee, my dining buddy got a protein ball. This was not too bad, and was mixed with coconut. Truth be told, to me a protein ball is more or less a protein ball. It is a bit too bland and health-based for my tastes. However, good market here since I always believe something on the side with coffee is needed. The protein balls thus have the illusion of having a cake to eat with the freshly brewed coffee.Call it simple, I can’t argue with that. However, don’t let the looks of it fool you if you want to go and get a cup of coffee, especially if you go here for a workout. Regardless, for a breakaway from the maddening crowd, a cheaper alternative and something which is fairly relaxing you can’t go wrong with this choice.

Ok, I really liked this place for a number of reasons. Number 1; the coffee was excellent. I think it is a Bellissimo blend, but regardless it was rich, with a very smooth draw and a pleasing after taste on the palette. Co blimey, sounds like a fine wine, don’t it. Number 2. All their delicious cakes are home made and the protein balls we had were some of the best I have tasted. Number 3. It is actually a coffee outlet attached to a gym far from the madding crowd in serene outer urban Tarragindi. It is relaxed and I could happily sit here and while away the hours, with only one eye om my boisterous grand daughter. Number 4. The girl serving here was lovely and very friendly. So all in all for what it is, this place ticks all the right boxes.
