Lots of interesting sweet treats at this little bakery. Service is very friendly & produce is super fresh. There are tables outside if you want to eat your pies there. I just bought some pumpkin scones to takeout, they were soft & crumbly & quite large & reasonably priced
This morning on the hunt for banh mi, and this is a little hidden spot in Annerley. Off the main road in the middle of a busy intersection. Hand full of parks, a long with bakery there is a convenience store, fish and chip shop and a thai restaurant.The bakery is on the older side, with older cabinets and layout, like a typical asian bakery. Pies, sausage rolls, bread and now addition of vietnamese food items. Salads, banh mi and dim sim.So today got a few items, 2 bbq pork banh mi, bacon, cheese pineapple pizza, cupcake, gingerbread man.The pizza was nice and soft with right amount of toppings, but today was after the pork roll.The bread was more on the soft side and it was premade and inside a bag. A layer of bbq pork and layer of cha, limited pickled carrots, piece of cucumber and some coriander. Not much pate and butter, and since was premade no soy sauce for that extra kick. With all that, it was an ok banh mi, a little change and it could be better.
