Held a mini birthday party for a friend in group of four at this Italian club. Although we are not the member, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Ordered the Antipstao Misto for two and a Focaccia Alle Erbe to share for entrees and mains of the Fish of the day, Steak of the day, Grigliata Mista Di Carne (mixed grilled) & Tortelloni Porcini Tortellini with mushroom & Ricotta. Entre of antipasto came in a generous portions with three types of meats with cheese and olives (4/5). It is a bargain for $26.00. Focaccia seemed to let down, which was slightly harder than I had in other Italian restaurant such as 1889 Enoteca (3/5). My plate of Mixed grilled was generous in portion but meats were bland (3/5). Tortellini could be more silky (3/5). Heroes should be the Wagyu and the Barramundi dishes. Wagyu was done perfectly med-rare and tasteful (4.5/5) and the Barramundi was grilled with golden brown color on top and juiced texture (4.5/5). We were so full that we decided to leave the taste of desserts next time. Overall, it was a decent experience.

Very high quality meal. The service was so friendly as well. Even though it is hosted in a club instead of a restaurant, the food is better than a lot of fancy Italian restaurants Ive been to. We totally enjoyed our dinner here.

This is a neighbourhood gem, serving up authentic Italian dishes with specials nights ranging from gnocchi to seafood. The service is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere like being in a Roman suburb. Good Italian wines, too.

I decided a rainy evening was perfect for some cozy pasta eating and opted for a few dishes via uber eats. I wasn’t disappointed, the pasta was absolutely delicious, the herb pizza bread hit the spot. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked, but the highlight was the sauces. They were smashing of flavour and were that amazing consistency where the spaghetti/penne is perfectly coated, and not heavy or oily. Just a wonderful balance. Bellissimo!

Authentic and delicious Italian food – a great find!We were lucky enough to go to ANFE last night when they were having one of their monthly regional theme nights. The venue is nothing special – just a community centre located in the commercial area of Newstead/New Farm but the food is fantastic and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. When we arrived we spent 10 minutes talking to the Club secretary, Signor Con Ottobrandi, who told us how to make prosciutto and his favourite items on the menu. The food was wonderful. We tried several items from the special menu and a couple of items from the regular menu and it was all delicious and well priced! We will definitely be coming back!

If you’re looking for authentic food and a place you can occasionally hear the chefs shouting at each other in Italian in the kitchen this is for you. No pretentious white table cloth service just friendly staff and amazing food. Don’t let the quirky club style venue put you off, the food is made to satisfy the nonas and papas and it doesn’t disappoint. Well priced and delicious, will be back.

Love ANFE, don’t expect any fancy decor, it’s kind of like a big community hall that you stumble into with tables and chairs set up. You order from a sheet of paper that you tick what meal you like and you bring that up to the cashier to pay.I got a recommendation for this place from a little old Sicilian lady, she believed that it was the most authentic Sicilian food you could get in Brisbane. So happy that I came here, I have been here at least a good 5 times and never leave disappointed. I always get bread and olive oil with chilli to start off with, not sure what olive oil they use but it tastes so good. Never am a big fan dipping bread in oil but this is just sensational. They do a beautiful seafood risotto, great pizzas and the pannacotta and tiramisu is just awesome. If you follow their facebook page they do specials here and then like pappadelle pasta night, made fresh by their Sicilian chef. I missed out that time which I was really disappointed as its first in first served until sold out. Nice friendly service too.
