Its always bustling, so rock up early or prepare to wait. The staff are communicative when it comes to wait times.Food wise, the pizza is always great with thin bases. We like the pepperoni pizza and the truffle pizza – which taste exactly as their name suggests. Simple and delicious. Great consistency between visits – including takeaway.Pasta wise – our go to is the duck ragu, which I encourage all to try. This place is consistently good, and delivers well each time.
The best pizza in town- on a par with their sister resto: Julius Pizzeria. A friend and I ordered scamorza pizza and their signature appetiser: calamari. After having visited all the wrong Italian restaurants in Brisbane, I finally found the right one. The pizza is just perfect not oily and not dry – perfect blend of crisp, chewy and tender. Will come back soon.We did come back for more prawn pizza and duck ragu squid-ink spaghetti. Was so hungry forgot to take pics 🙂
Went here for an impromptu mid-week early dinner. Five minutes after we sat down, the tables started filling up fast, so highly recommend coming early as they apparently do not accept reservations. We ordered the ‘Pizza-of-the-day’, which was tomato-based with ricotta, eggplant and prosciutto. The base was perfectly thin and crispy with generous toppings. We also ordered the ‘Linguine al Granchio’ – the perfect blend of spice, tomatoes and crab meat, with pasta cooked al dente. We were given complimentary home-made bread with olive oil before our meals came out.Friendly and efficient service. Casual ambience with indoors and outdoors seating. Reasonable prices.A very good Italian option in the Teneriffe/Newstead area.
This is the place if you want authentic pizza. I tried all the pizzeria’s in Briabane and this is the only one the reminds me of the pizza that I had in Italy 0. Cant wait to go back!
