Ive walked past this place so so many times and always thought to go elsewhere thinking that there are better options in the area. Can say they exceeded my expectations and the coffee was good and the Breakfast Burger tasty. Central ordering means you dont have to wait long for service which is a plus.
I recently enjoyed the raspberry and ricotta pancakes at Buzz Bistro. They were delicious and the raspberry filling in the centre of the pancake was a lovely surprise! However, for $18.50 I would have liked the ice cream to be included and not an additional $2. I also ordered an iced coffee which was nice but quite strong. I would suggest that Buzz Bistro adds drinks such as these (iced, etc.) to the menu as it is unclear before ordering as to whether they make them or not. The open plan seating creates a relaxing atmosphere but may present problems in adverse weather conditions. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit.
Saturday breakfast at buzz. We had the breakfast burger and blueberry pancakes. Food was quick to arrive and tasted great. Nice setting in the gasworks, very bright.
This is a great breakfast venue. The quality of the food is very good and coffee excellent. I love it when a chef takes the trouble to present food well and Buzz is one of the best cafes around for this. It definitely improves the experience. I don’t mind lining up to order – it beats waiting for wait staff at other venues. But if you love a good steak – this is thebest around.
Have eaten here a few times now and there is always something new to try on the menu.Last visit I had the snapper with Veges and it was delicious. My dining companion also enjoyed her pasta with pesto. The drinks list allows plenty of choice. The pizzas here are very good- fun names of the dishes including the burgers.Nice selection of home made cakes too. The coffee here is brilliant- open for breakfast too.
The team enjoyed duck breast, buffalo wings and a burger for the day’s proceedings. The buffalo wings had the classic vinegary spicy flavour with an amazing blue cheese sauce, but just didn’t have the textural crunch of previous offerings I have had. The duck breast salad hit mostly all the high notes with a juicy and pink inner, yet again there was no crunchy skin in sight. Lastly, the medium cooked burger. This ticked all the boxes; great bun, seasoned pattie, punchy sauce, and a solid side serve of fries. The smoky bacon was a cracker and really set it alight. I’m summary, a decent selection of hunger stoppers with good service.Food 7.5/10 Service 7/10 Decor 7/10
In a convenient spot with plenty of parking. Tableware looked good. Service was fast enough and food looked nice. Just had ta coffee and toast as there is no vegetarian offerings in the menu. Almost everything came with bacon and eggs in some form and swap outs appeared complicated. For us is a once a year deal. ……
