I meant to visit the Short Order by Joycelyn’s Provision this morning but it was too early for the expected opening hour so went across the road and re-visit this caf. I have a very good impression with Campos so my expectation on this caf is high. Ordered a cup of flat white and requested to warm up my order of Almond Croissant. Service is very friendly and proficient. Even though the staff has to walk up to upstairs for delivery of my orders. She maintains her happy smiling face while she is serving me upstairs. Coffee is no doubt a spot-on standard to me. Strength and smoothness are all impressive. Even though the Almond Croissant is carefully warm up with crispy pastry and warm content. No doubt, it is faultless and full mark is deserved.Nov 19, 2015In the morning before I shopped at The Standard Market Company, the logo of Campos coffee caught my attention. It had been quite a long time since I had enjoyed the Campos coffee at Wandoo Street Fortitude Valley. Doubtlessly, I walked in this sibling cafe at Gaswork Plaza to revive the coffee experience. It was around 8:00am and there were only a few tables occupied so I tried to go upstairs to explore. Well, I did not like the cage-type set-up at the upstairs dining area, which gives me feeling of pressure so I walked back downstairs and waited for my coffee. I love the coffee as usual particularly with the nice looking coffee art but I still think that there was lacked of the Campos Coffee vibe as compared to the Flagship store at Wandoo Street. Maybe it was not as busy when I visited or I had the best of its kind before, however the overall experience was not bad.
