We popped in for a Friday afternoon catch up. Nabbed a high table so we could watch the passing parade of locals and the waitress kindly turned on the heater as it was a miserable night weather wise. Menus – for food and drinks were on the table and water was brought over as soon as we sat down. We started with a Chablis and a proseco frizante. Decided we should try the share plates as we were enjoying the drinks and atmosphere. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. The meals we chose were octopus with chilli jam and aoli, lamb meatballs, fennel salad and sauted beans. All were good sized serves- the vegetable ones were sides but still generous. More wine and we asked for the bill. They were happy to let us split it. Will be back to enjoy the food, wine and ambience here. Great place to relax and enjoy yourself.
Went here on a cold and dizzling weekend night for dinner with the partner. We ordered the Chargrilled Steak and the Linguine (Vegetarian option), as well as the ginger cocktail and a glass of merlot. The ginger cocktail was rum-based and a little too sweet for my liking – I would have preferred more of fresh ginger for a bit of heat/spiciness. The merlot was good. The steak was cooked to my preference (I specified medium), and the sides of roasted potato nuggets were perfectly crispy. The linguine was reasonable flavourful with a good amount of heat from the chillies. The vegetarian version is reminiscent of the original, except without the prawns (and hence, $4 cheaper).Service is reasonable – there was only one server available and he was quite vigilant with taking orders and refilling water glasses. Casual ambience – there are very limited seating indoors around the bar, the rest was outdoors seating. Reasonable prices, although the cocktails were on the higher end.Overall, an average restaurant and bar option for late night dinner in Teneriffe.
Apparently its too hard for one of the owner/S to take an order an order for food or even collect some water for a table. Handing over customers requests to your staff so you can chat to your mates at the venue is absolutely disgusting. Just had the other owner gesture by pushing the other guy mid conversation, Im appalled! Thought a new venue in Teneriffe would try and impress their locals and attempt to gain their return service, apparently not…. my first review and someone who does not like to banter as Ive worked in this industry for too many years, this place has stunned me!
We stumbled across this place when we were going for a drink next door. Lovely staff, cheap beer ($5 for a special Frothy beer or $20 for 4 beers of any type!). We didn’t get to try the food yet but the menu looks good. Definately worth checking out.
Just awesome! Very reasonable price for drinks, great spot to sit. Enjoyed a $20 bucket of 4 premium beers and they have $5 lagers all day every day. Great music and comfy seats. A must stop in Teneriffe. We didnt try the food but will next time!
