Super customer service, and good home style Indian that wasnt too oily or heavy! And special thanks for being so accomodating of dietary requirements. Im GF, DF and no onion and no garlic. Curries are made to order from scratch and not bulk pre cooked stuff. Will be back.
We went to the party on the 6th oct catered by klay oven . The food quality was below average , and the food was not sufficient to feed all of us. Starters run out and currries were also finished. The owner had no idea how much food was required . I wont recommend this to anyone I future !
$25ish for a curry with six small very overcooked prawns. The naan tasted as though it was cooked yesterday. Would not recommend going there at all.
The service was very friendly/helpful, food was excellent compared to local alternatives. It is a little on the pricey side but that’s not surprising given the location.
We’ve ordered from here a few times and unfortunately this time will be the last. The curries are indeed nice (for Brisbane – which are on average terrible) but the value proposition is badly lacking. At $22 for a beef vindaloo which had five, yes five small chunks of beef in a sea of curry was an absolute rip off. It was the same with the lamb madras too. Our bill came to over $80 for 3 curries and some naans. The naans were dry and crusty. Can’t remember such poor value for money. At least a robber wears a mask.
Another mixed one. I’m from Sydney originally and have been apprehensive about trying Indian in Brisbane. The food here was good with some dishes that can be hard to find. The big let down was it took over an hour and a half for the food to come out, yes they were busy with take away but the restaurant was only half full and two tables that ordered after us received their food first, to be honest the writing was on the wall when it took 20 min to get our order taken but my dining companion wanted Indian
Very good food and friendly service. One of the only restaurants in Brisbane I have been to who can make very hot, yet well balanced flavoursome curry.
