Love this place. They have such a great selection of fresh food. The fresh vegetables are usually arranged in perfectly coordinated rows & there is a great bakery where the cakes are divine. Of particular note are the almond croissant which I usually go out of my way to buy every visit
The standard market company is one of my favourite food stores. It has fresh food and good quality that is worth every penny. There is are cafes and restraints near by along with a butcher and bakery inside. Definitely recommend it!
When I saw the sign of this market, it drew my memory of shopping at the James Street Market in Fortitude Valley. When I just stepped in the entrance, the nice arranged and freshly fruits in front of me caught my gaze. Swinging my head to the right hand side, I could see all the different kinds of olives sitting in the display cabinets with lovely smiling. What my impression to this market is quality, quality and quality. The most attractive window display is the one with so many different types of dry age beef near the check out. Honestly, it is the first time that I see them in a market. It really widen my horizon of what a quality market and wise business should be. Highly recommend you to have your shopping there today.
So far I have never been disappointed with this place, full of mouth watering delicious simple detailed snacks. Prices ain’t cheap, but really worth it. Always try to get something yummy when I’m around.
These are delicious, if you’re ever walking past newstead check these guys out. Lovely staff that are really friendly as well :).
