Had heard good things about this cafe but was very disappointed with the experience. A group of six went for Sunday brunch. The service was incredibly slow despite not being too busy. Most disappointingly key ingredients were changed without advice. Two friends ordered the bake up – one came with fried eggs and tomatoes, the other baked eggs and mushrooms. I ordered the panacotta, attracted to the house made honeycomb. It was missing and the dish was bland.

I came here with some friends for Sunday lunch and was excited from the moment I read the menu. I must admit, the caf itself doesnt have a lot of ambience, its a little stark and not overly inviting however you come here for the food. The menu is gluten-free, much is dairy-free and paleo and there are plenty of vegan options too. They say if its on the menu, its healthy this is my kinda caf!I started with a juice (not listed on the menu, just bottled ones from the fridge) and the fish taco. Our food was served quite quickly and looked just beautiful. I love it when food looks as good as it tastes and it was seriously delicious. I loved everything about my meal – the fish was beautifully cooked, the coconut crepe was really tasty and I loved the raw salad and avocado. The whole combination was great, it’s a winning dish. One friend really enjoyed her paleo fried chicken and another loved her bone broth and smoothie. The kitchen seemed to consistently send out meals but for everything else, it was pretty slow. My friend waited 15minutes for her smoothie and I waited a further 15minutes for my raw caramel slice to simply be taken out of the sweets cabinet and put on a plate. Service could really do with a bit of fine tuning but the food is fantastic. I would definitely return to try more delicious menu items. lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com
