Another cheap and fast take away. The prices were cheaper than the others in this area, and the portions were huge. Unfortunately the food taste was too average and the people there weren’t welcoming.
Good inexpensive local place. Dim sims were excellent, sweet and sour pork had plenty of meat, but the chicken pad thai was a bit light on the chicken. Will order from here again.
The Gap Canteen is excellent – have ordered many, many meals from here over the last 2 or so years.Always fresh (as can been seen at the counter – the ingredients are all neatly displayed), well cooked (the cooking is also on display – nothing is hidden from view), and done with a fast turnaround.I would consider this one of, if not the, best Chinese take-aways in Brisbane.
Regrettable dinner choice. Oily, lacklustre veges. Thick sauces. Felt unwell after consuming a small amount that I suspect related to Sodium +++. We were served quickly and certainly it seems popular with locals. Not sure why.
Regular :). I’ve never been disappointed with the food. They are super quick and the quality is great! They have an amazing variety and even give you deals like free prawn chips and a drink when you spend enough.
