The lovely staff at Komo Sushi sure make some delicious Japanese. Since trying the chicken katsu, shoyu ramen and vegetarian curry I am addicted. I eat here at least twice a week and can always rely on the food being fresh, tastey and consistent.
Definitely recommend their Bento Boxes, and in particular their chicken/pork Katsu. Absolutely delicious at a great price Komo has become a staple in our house for quick and fresh tasty food.
My partner and I came and had lunch. There were no other customers so we were served quickly. We waited only 5 minutes for our meals and it was really nice. Not a lot of space indoors but it was clean and tidy. Lunch meal deal was a great price ($9 for a big bowl of chicken karaage with rice)
A cute and simple sushi place. Its my regular sushi spot as its around the corner from me. Great prices for the sushi rolls @ $2.80 each. The sushi rolls are all made on order which always tastes better than the ones you find sitting on display. The current owners took over this store from another sushi place, renamed it, and changed the interior slightly and slightly lowered the menu prices. The previous owner/store was a Japanese baseball fan as he had plenty of Japanese baseball photos and merchandise on display. It was cool to see, although I’m not sure if others would have appreciated his love for Japanese baseball.Service – Faultless. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a genuine ‘hello’ as soon as I step into the store.Price – Highly competitve pricing compared to other sushi places near me. The owners don’t skimp on the sushi roll fillings which is always welcomed.Dining – They have indoor dining as well as outdoor. The interior looks fresh, clean and well lit. The seating is very comfortable and modern. The outdoor area is basic (but not old nor tacky) with simple table and chairs. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to add some ambient music inside as its super quiet. I feel the music would lift the atmosphere and make for a more pleasant/inviting experience. The usual sushi rolls I order are:Tuna and avoTeriyaki chicken and avoTempura prawn and avoBBQ chickenCaliforniaMy kids go crazy over tuna and avo and argue they make the best tuna/avo sushi rolls.I can’t vouch for the other rolls or the other menu items as I’ve never ordered that part of the menu before. My kids and I love the sushi rolls too much to try anything else! Although, I’ll endeavour to make an effort and try other items on the menu.Other great points:Free soy sauce and wasabiAccepts EFTPOSExcellent service
This Japanese restaurant is simple but fantastic the chicken karrage and the chicken teriyaki are wonderful the couple who run it are warm and friendly. Fantastic takoyaki!
Just love this place. I have been here so many times and it’s the type of food you crave for. The staff are great and provide excellent service. It’s a basic little place with a choice of in or outside dining, you have to try this place.
