Sweets I’ve tasted here have been good. But, bread rolls are far too salty. The saltiness ruins the taste of whatever it is you have on the roll. Have had this happen multiple times. Won’t go back again for bread.

Love this bakery, we come here every other weekend. Everything is well priced and they have a massive variety of sweets. Need to get there early though, when we don’t have lunch until 1pm, there are rarely any of my classic favourite pies. Never stale and flaky pastry! I forgive the worn and dated decor as the staff are always friendly.

Wandering around Tingalpa last Sunday morning, all of the sudden I felt like to have some caffeine so dropped in this bakery for help. Ordered a cup of flat white and a piece of banana cake (they said they are serving cake not bread). No matter it is cake or bread, I could not taste any trace of banana taste except sweet. Maybe I have no sweet tooth but that cold banana cake is not the right time for a cold morning. On the other hand, I do not like the coffee too, it is far too watery…..

Bought 2 meat pies: average in taste and almost cold when we got home only 5 mins from store. Bought 1 rum ball: awful tastes like plastic. Bought 1 lamington with cream: lovely. The customer service was quick but felt very rushed by staff member.

This is a True Blue bakery in the very essence of the words. They do all those amazingly old fashioned delights like matchsticks, meat pies, Bee Stings & good old apple turnovers. Been years since I have cast my eyes on a Bee Sting so had to flip for that!!
