Worst customer service!. The bakery itself is pretty average food and coffee wise. But the customer service tops the cake, it’s absolutely disgusting. The younger girls are lovely but there are 2 older lady’s in particular (one always in a black uniform) who are just down right rude. This is unfortunately our local bakery so we pop in to grab our loaf of bread quite often and sure enough if we get served by one of the older ladies, your lucky to get a hello, smile or a thank you. It’s the same poor customer service every time, so beware it won’t be a friendly atmosphere and if their quite busy at the time you pop down be sure enough to be made felt as if your a pest!
Disappointed. After hearing of Brett noys recent success in competing on the international level, I thought I’d drop on by to try some amazing bread. Sadly I left disappointed, as the bread on display looked no better than the poor quality offered by our local crusty devil. Thanks but no thanks.
Rude service. The older staff at Uncle Bob’s bakery -the lady with short hair and another lady with short curly hair have been rude towards me. They always seem to be in a foul mood. Don’t like it. Train staff to be better. I enjoy friendly service and it just hasn’t been delivered to me here.The food however-the pies, pastries, slices, breads are wonderful. This is a review for the Tingalpa/Belmont store.
Love It!. I’ve been here a couple of times now. The selection of pies and cakes are amazing, the staff are young but always helpful and the lady in the black jacket who made our coffee was witty and approachable – nothing was a problem. Can’t fault it at all 🙂
I came to Uncle Bob’s in Tingalpa and the pies are delicious. My children love it when I bring them home a treat from Uncle Bob’s. My wife and I also love treating our selves here. Unfortunately, the staff don’t do the bakery any justice. The junior staff are always excellent; the staff with the black coats look as though they do not want to be there. I was ordering a number of items, when it got to the coffee, the shop assistant rolled her eyes in front of me and other customers. When handed my coffee I was not told goodbye or to have a good day, not even smiled at. Overall I love the baked goods from this bakery. I hope I do not have another experience with bad service again because I will not return.
Disappointed customer. We visited the Tingalpa bakery today. The shop assistant (wearing black uniform) had an attitude. I said to her that I’ve been standing here for 5 minutes and you keep serving customers behind me. I was there before them. She said to me that we can’t help it, there’s only three of us here. Also the coffee is terrible. Sausage roll was average, apple crumble was cold, I think just came out from the freezer, chicken and cheese pie was average considering the price of $5.10. We were disappointed because it was voted as one of the best bakery in Brisbane. We don’t think so. We won’t be going back there again.
Below average. Good pies, below average bread, average service and very poor staff knowledge. Can get as good pies elsewhere so won’t be back.
