A rather disappointing experience here. I thought there would be more life to this cafe but all seemed rather dull right from the outset.The low lighting didn’t seem to help and neither did all the noise and commotion coming from the kitchen. The barista was friendly however and after being informed that the menu was limited, I decided on putting through an order for the Fairfax burger but made on a croissant instead of a tiger bun.After a wait of more than half an hour I received a bagel bun instead of a croissant and with poached eggs instead of scrambled. Even after checking with the kitchen staff beforehand they still managed to send out the wrong order?Not willing to take it back after the long wait and especially after overhearing the loud discussions in the background, I decided to just settle for this sandwich as it all seemed a rather foregone conclusion.I was certainly expecting something more friendly and inviting from this cafe; after having read the other reviews, but after my own poor experience I won’t ever be coming back.
Good food and even better coffee at an affordable price, close to everything! Owner is a friendly guy, always gives me a free coffee. Worth a look!
Came here for brunch and was warmly greeted by the staff here. I ordered a cappuccino, which was strong and had a nutty flavour. We got the B&E croissant, and Avo good one. The croissant was really flaky and had a chewy interior which I loved. It was generously stuffed with eggs, cheese and bacon. For only $10, this is a steal! The Avo toast was interesting as they added Carrot jam and the sourdough had a nice tang to it. I’ll definitely be back here just to enjoy the ambience and their coffees.

Overall the food was solid but could use some more flavour. The coffee was good, service was great.
