Average at best. Menu hasn't changed for an eternity and it's overpriced. Don't bother, head to josie north or the Corner Store, much better options.…

Waited 20 minutes for a takeaway coffee. 4 waitstaff behind the coffee machine. And they managed to forget my muffin. Won’t be coming back here again.
They have changed the menu recently which has improved the lunch menu slightly, but the breakfast menu is still overwhelmingly disappointing. Had the baked eggs – apparently the kitchen doesn’t know what poaching an egg medium is. The first egg that came out was barely cooked, asked for a second and it was cooked exactly the same. The chorizo and spicy beans was basically just a bland chilli. For $15, I basically got a decent piece of toast. Can’t imagine I’ll go there for breakfast again.Just tried to check it out a second time a year later. Got cold AF fries that took 30 min to come out – asked to get fresh ones – got the same fries just heated up in the microwave brought back 2 min later. Dont ever buy food here. The food is dreadful and the restaurant staff obviously dont care about food quality, their customers or their own self respect. Absolutely dreadful.
This place is generally pretty crap; have had the standard burger and fish & chips now and it’s been below average both times. Boring, dry food and consistently average service. The pizzas look and smell okay so if you have to eat here maybe order one of those? From memory the pub food in the courtyard is better; if they still offer that.
I haven’t been back to the Street Cafe in a while and thought possibly by now some improvement has been made. I needed a quick lunch so thought I’d grab some wedges on take away. $9 for about 10ish wedges. So disappointing – does it cost you $9 for the box you get from the supplier? I’m pretty sure you can throw in a few extra wedges… I wont be back and I certainly won’t be recommending in the future, even if it means going a bit further.
Cold. Just ordered the Cafe Burger, waited about 20 mins and it came out cold. Was ok with cold- warm chips / onion rings but not the undercooked, cold wagyu burger pattie. Reluctantly took it back, no apology from the staff member. Version 2 came out around 15 minutes later, colder and still undercooked. Disappointed.
Worst service ever. Took 3 staff 10min to work out how to bring me a lunch menu. Service has always been terrible. Looking forward to the new cafe up the road opening up
To think someone with a neck tattoo to be rejected entry for some lunch and it to actually happen is simply disgusting. This establishment should be ashamed of themselves to deny a local resident from being able to casually visit their local hotel. Whatever you think ‘human rights’ are, are as bad as your terrible service. I’ll be telling everyone not to visit this horrible place.
