This is our local fish and chip joint and we have been going there for over twenty years.. unfortunately it’s just not the same quality as it used to be. VERY greasy – still can’t get the old grease taste out of my mouth. Piece of fish very large and tasteless, calamari was cooked well and this was the best part of the meal. Coleslaw was just ok, but the potato scallops couldn’t have been more full of grease if they had tried. It’s a shame but we won’t be back – especially at $43 for two people!! Overprice and overgreased.

Much better than the seafood at Rosalie. The scollops were big and juicy. The scollops at Rosalie were tiny, and not much cheaper, if at all

Friendly customer service, particularly from the male staff, is non existent. Food usually fairly decent. If you’re open till 8, don’t turn away orders at 7:50.

I love this place with all my heart. Ate my first Dim Sim & my first oyster from here and always go back for the freshest seafood. Lovely people, delicious food.

Very hit or miss. If they are quiet expect good food but when it’s busy they are prone to dropping the ball. Biggest issue at these times is getting food way overcooked. Seems they don’t change their oil very often either … Or maybe it’s all that burnt seafood that taints the taste sometimes. I like it when there good and often bin it when they’re bad. Fried (crumbed) calamari is one thing they do better than most of Brisbane.

Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Come here for several years and food quality is variable. sometimes its good and other times its very average where some fishparts taste old and chewy. chips needs a bit longer frying and the 1 person platter should have more fries. service is ok

Love Tipplers!. We get a lot of Friday night Fish n Chips from Tipplers and they are consistently excellent. The staff work like a well oiled machine and are efficient and friendly. The chippies are cooked to perfection – so crunchy!I. Love. Tipplers!
