I used to get takeout from this food outlet all the time as a first year uni student! Oh the memories…! Their dishes are consistently tasty, authentic and affordable. Thanks for satisfying my food cravings when Mum wasn’t around to cook for me! I’ll have to pay you guys a visit the next time I’m in town!
i came here when i was little had a lot of memories . i like the satay chicken and the prawn crackers. Bit oily although good value if you’re in a rush and yeah
Typical food court restaurant – good for filling you up when you can’t be bothered finding real food. Excessively oily, poorly seasoned take-away interpretation of Chinese food, but really what would one expect? Therefore 3/5 as expectations weren’t too far off reality.
Highly recommend their combination/seafood Chow mein. The real authentic Cantonese crispy noodle (chow mein). I think there is too much sauce, but the noodles are really good. Hainanese Chicken rice is very good too, chicken is so succulent.I am not too happy with the self service part as usually food not that fresh, recommend everyone just order something on the menu that the chef make it fresh.
Best chicken rice!!. My fav chicken rice in brisbane followed only by malaya corner sunnybank 🙂
Seriously avoid. The food was tasteless, overcooked and excessively oily. The person who served me was rude and appeared eager to ensure I didn’t come back, needless to say I won’t be.
Hainan Chicken is the BEST!. I work nearby and eat here at least once a week. I love the Nasi Lemak (with extra ikan bilis), but my absolute favourite is the Hainan Chicken. It’s a whole chicken breast (other places give cutlets etc) with the best green gingery sauce. I ask for it without skin, and with half rice and extra pickled carrots- the lady is so friendly and happy to make it specially for me. I have half a dozen people at work hooked on it- it’s simply one of my favourite meals of all time. I haven’t had the ready made food before, I’m happy to wait for something fresh and tasty. Do yourself a favour…
