The ambience is good and you get a lot of attention from the waitresses there. We ordered chicken breast, I would stay it was just ok. The sauce did taste directly of tomato and plum sauce like the ones just bought from market. Didn’t find anything special. And the chicken breast piece was relatively small for the price.I might go back but I guess it is a tad pricey.
Never had a bad experience at Cactus Saloon, waiters are always on top of their game and happy to help, bartenders are always happy to have a chat! However I think it’s a little unfair I had to pay $3 or so for a soda water, it’s only water with bubbles and costs nothing for them. Food servings are always generous and tasty, good value for money in that aspect. I’ll be returning there. 🙂

This is a great place for a feed if you are visiting Townsville. I’m always satisfied with my meal and the staff are fantastic.
