Really tasty!. The food was delicious! I had the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Serving sizes are perfect – filling but didn’t over do it. More expensive than other places (but I’m from Adelaide so it may be standard for Townsville)Would definitely come back
Love masala for some good relatively cheap take away. Shame the eat in experience isn’t as good but I’ll keep going back for a slack nights tea. Great malai kofta
Friday lunch at palmer street. Me and my friend went for friday lunch today. view was nice from front deck. we ordered mixed platter and naan. Samosa was allright. onion bhaji was soggy and dead. seek kabab has got no flavour, seems was not cooked in tandoor. the most disappointment was from the plain naan and vegi paratha. soggy and oily plain naan and vegi paratha was falling apart . they didn’t serve us water and didn’t even ask for while they served water for another table. I would not go back again.
The best indian I’ve ever had!. Masala is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The Butter Chicken is to die for!! My husband always order the lab Rogan Josh. We both LOVE LOVE LOVE Masala! I gained $10 kg living around the corner having take away all the time. Have now moved to WA and lost the 10kgs after not finding any good Indian to fuel my addiction 🙂
Slow, but not poor service. (our waiter, on enquiring about this admitted that he’d had to call in extra staff, as they had been surprised by the number of walk-ins after two reservations had not shown) The food was, as usual, excellent and that is why I, like others, will be going back.
Best Mango Chicken!
Food was good, with a menu that’s is basically what you expect of a standard Indian place. The service was a little slow and hap hazard but I forgive easily and will be back.
