Great staff, choice of inside or outside eating and the food was really great! The poached eggs were a little bit overdone, but overall I would absolutely recommend.
Stairway to heavenly breakfast. A quick decision between me and some friends was made to head out into town for breakfast. A friend suggested The Balcony just as we were walking past, a short journey up the staircase followed by prompt and friendly service was awaiting us. The meals were snappy and nothing short of spot on, even the juices they delivered were the goods! I couldn’t pick a bad thing about this place, even the cost was justified by the applaud of my tastebuds! would definately go again!
A Symphony of experience. As I walked up the stairs I did not know what to expect, thinking it would be small and rather average. Even at first glance I was impressed with the layout simple yet elegant. My friend who I was dining with recommend the bacon steak which I order, awaiting my meal I order a freshly made apple juice when it arrived I did not hesitate it looks tantalizing and a experience in itself. I got lost in the flavour of the juice as if I have been dancing with the wrong apples my entire life and the large was perfect. My meal, the long short wait the bacon steak with eggs, it arrived in a timely manner with a friendly smile and attitude from our waitress. It was in fact picture perfect it was no ordinary bacon and eggs it was a symphony of flavour that complimented each other in the simplest of ways the eggs cooked to perfection the toast crisp to the perfect amount did enjoy every mouthful I got lost in the flavour with my smile from every aspect of this dining experience the only downside to this establishment is that if you order a hot chocolate with a marshmellow you will have to bring your own marshmellow this place is a hidden gem one that is Divine go here and experience this for yourself. Great!. A friend and I had lunch at The Balcony on saturday 22/2/14 and it was lovely. I had the Thai Green Curry and my friend the Maple Glazed Lamb Shank and both were wonderful (and large!) the service was fantastic too.
Bacon chop was perfectly cooked. Eggs superb! Coffee was spot on! Friendly staff. Quality ingredients. Bircher museli was an excellent texture with just enough yoghurt on the side. Best brekky so far in Townsville by far! Well done Balcony
