Looking forward to bringing family and friends to this place. Chairs are uncomfortable, I cannot really settle into my morning paper. Jaffels were delicious and creative. Coffee was great
The word to describe this place is JAFFLICIOUS! Best coffee in the cafe-desert that is Townsville, but the service can be a bit hit & miss. Still keeps me coming back, though…
I had the breakfast burrito. Absolutely amazing & best hang over cure! Wishing there was one at the Gold Coast where I’m from. But highly recommend.
Felt like I walked into a trendy inner city Melbourne cafe. Love the jaffles.
Great Cafe. Cool cafe and great coffee, interesting artwork and nice atmosphere.
Waste of time. Had lunch here the other day, won’t be going back any time soon. 40 minute wait for a meals (jaffle and burger only). Coffee was ok. We ate outside. This place has a serious problem with pigeons, it’s gross when your trying to eat and they are swarming uncleared tables for left overs. Makes the place feel dirty.
A solid 10/10. Stepping into the Sweatshop is like going through a transporter that takes you to the trendiest new cafe in Melbourne. With its quirky, artsy decor and even utensils (don’t expect glasses but different sized glass jars), chilled music, friendly service, good food and good coffee, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re on your own there are magazines to read, or if wanting to kill time or boredom a selection of boardgames.Might I add I had a delicious cheeseburger jaffle reminiscent of a McDonald’s cheeseburger, which, if nothing else, definitely guarantees another visit.
