Went for dinner on the 23/12/15 with 9 other family members. Arrived early in the evening and placed our orders. Numerous items on the menu were not available. No oysters (Remember the business is located on the coast), no ribs and to top it off, no orange juice at the bar. WOW. Bar staff blamed a busy night the previous evening. I blamed very poor management. Won’t be returning. If you want a meal, try the Surf Club or many other establishments in Tugun.

Love this tavern great food ,and normally great helpful staff but tonight the manager was either wanting to get home or is just rude ,drinks were shut off just after 11 pm with no warning ,when asked he replied rudely notice doesn’t have to be given but the gambling stayed open. Till 12 can’t work that out !!
An incredible parmigiana. I don’t understand how they made such a refreshing tasteful non-greasy Parma but it was truly a gift to the taste buds after a long day. The salad was fresh and clean, unique with quality. The chips also very hearty and without the canvas of oil that discourages your foraging beast within. I enjoyed the classic pub nature and its spritz of elegance. The service was prompt and well tuned. Price was to die for especially with such quality. I saw families, friends, oldies, couples. The Tugun Tavern seems right up there yet you’d never had guessed until you went yourself.Definitely will venture back soon!!Keep it up Tugun
