Very disappointing. We found the food very ordinary. In fact our friends were unable to eat their steak. Although we were the only people there for lunch the service was also slow. The whole venue is very tired.
Rubbish!Seafood Risotto was virtualy fish flavored rice.Next to no seafood could be found in the dish.Couldn’t be bothered complaining just wont go back.
Two tables of people who came in after us had their orders taken before us. This is absolutely inexcusable and totally unprofessional. Also very slow bringing the menu in the first place. Very slow food service as well. Received our main course 50 minutes after seating.
Lovely quiet setting with waterfall and lake in background. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, well cooked, good flavours and fresh.
Took the Missus & her sister ( plus her Hubby ) & the Mother in Law to Dinner at the Loose Goose last night ( currently I’m the bravest man on the Sunshine Coast ) We booked an indoor table for the A/C but changed to a lagoon side table when we arrived (did I see a flicker of annoyance from our wait staff? ) this proved to be an inspired choice as it was a perfect evening. Initially the service was a little slow and detached. ( but did improve dramatically as the night drew on ) The meal options, whilst relatively limited, offered enough choices for our table, the men folk started with entrees of Twice Cooked Cheese Soufflé and Tassie Seared Scallops ( roe off unfortunately )Both were enjoyed with the option of having the Soufflé again very tempting The mains included Risotto with Barramundi ( excellent) Char Grilled Sirloin ( excellent ) and three serves of Pork Shoulder for the ladies ( I would suggest the way the 91 year old M.i.L devoured hers then the Pork was a winner ) deserts were ordered by four of our table and all were given the thumbs up The drinks menu is ok without being anything special with a few craft beers available ( the usual suspects) and enough wine varieties for most palates there is cocktails available but the Missus complained about the lack of fruit with hers ( can’t please everyone ) All in all a very pleasant evening and most importantly the Mother in Law appeared happy Would definitely dine at The Loose Goose again.
