Discovered this Japanese eatery on the day that I explored next door caf (Red Cardinals). Went back to have dinner last night and I was shock that I have written review for this newly opened restaurant back to 2015! After a thorough investigation, I realise that this eatery was located at the Market Square just near the previous Westpac Bank (this bank has moved to the Sunnybank Plaza). No wonder why the dishes that are serving so familiar. Ordered the Chicken Hot Pot, Daily special of Black beef with Omelette & Rice with extra small dish of Teriyakki Chicken Wings. Honestly, the whole eatery just gives me the feeling of local Japanese canteen with so many young Japanese running the show. Dishes are all homey with average standard but prices are very competitive. No wonder there are so many young family with kids running around just like Sunday gatherings. Overall, it is highly recommended.Jun 26, 2015 Rating 3.5/4May be it is my negligence or it may be due to this venue has been changed and serves different types of Japanese cuisines. It absolutely does not attract me to walk in not until today’s lunch. We went in for lunch in group of three. I would not say the dishes that we had are the best but they are all homey, authentic, generous, cheap and fast in service. Not a bad choice for quick meal.
