Having been here in the past (3 – 4 years ago) I was really looking forward to heading back there with a group of friends. However this time around, I was very disappointed compared to previous visits. Meat was all frozen, Wagyu was very chewy and full of gristle, same with the pork belly. Having to wait 20 minutes after ordering food for it to come out, very small portion sizes as well. Sadly I don’t think I will be returning, prices have got much higher and quality has gone downhill. If you want Japanese BBQ it’s worth the extra $5 to go to Nonbei in the valley.
