Tried the roasted oolong tea with evaporated milk and brown sugar jelly today and must say it was quite delightful. This place isnt your typical milk tea place where the drink tastes full of syrup. You can actually taste the tea! Only downfall is the price point.
After shopping at the Garden City one weekend last month, we went to this renowned bubble tea place to get something to drink. Noticed the top five drink list so followed it to order the Pineapple Juice with Jasmine Tea and the Guava Juice with Oolong tea. Surprisingly, they both are not our cup of teas. The fruit juice absolutely covered the tea flavour and the only taste left was the sweetness. The scenario happened the other day when I had a bubble tea at Gong Cha Sunnybank Plaza. I think the best way is just to have either Oolong or green tea by themselves so we can enjoy the refreshing tea flavour from the drinks. It is just personal preference …. :)4 months ago Rating 5/5Walked past the Comebuy tea in the city last week that reminded me the experience that I had the tea from its sibling at the Garden City. Correct me if I am wrong, I think his one should be the flag-ship of Comebuy Tea. Love its lay-out and scale. Varieties of equipment really show-case how serious is the business. Ordered a jasmine green tea with half sugar and Konjac jelly. The tea is full of jasmine taste not like the other competitors who only prepare some sweet drinks instead of TEA. A highly recommended place for bubble tea.
Absolutely love the concept of their store, how fresh & fragrant their tea tastes, the konjac jelly pearls are a wonderful treat, and the overall experience is a refreshment to your parched palate. Will keep on patronizing every time Im in Garden City!
