Finally got to try this place after waking by it several dozen times!I noticed that at dinner time this place has the most customers of all the restaurants in this part of Garden City. Atmosphere: dark and suitable for date night. Quite an intimate setting for the hordes of other diners. Service: fairly quick and unobtrusive. Or meals came within ten minutes of ordering. Food: I particularly liked the black fungus salad (crunchy and gelatinous at the same time???) and the chicken satay (lightly aromatic flavour). We also had the fried tofu (tasted like it had a soft chat mochi coating), crispy pork belly and beef Masaman and roti. The pork belly was not bad; although, I would have liked crisper skin. The capsicum sauce was interesting. Masaman needed a little too mich sugar. Roti was a wierd combination of puff pastry and flatbread. Verdict: will need more information (another try). Value foroney ok.

Our 1984 Cocktail and Yakult Pipo Jelly are pretty and refreshing. Before long, our dinner order is served. *Papaya Salad with Soft Shell Crab*Prawns with Chilli, Basil & Vegetables*Roast Duck with Orange Sauce *Panang Curry Chicken *Oyster Mushroom Salad*Vegetarian Pad ThaiEvery dish is good but the standout dish is the Roast Duck with Orange Sauce ($29). Freshly roasted and sliced with crispy duck skin it is the table favourite. We finish off our meal with a Durian Ice Cream and Glutinous Rice dessert. It is so delicious! This is one of our favourite Thai restaurants. It is beautifully decorated, wait staff are friendly and all speak fluent English, the Thai cuisine is authentic and prices are reasonable. We will be back again soon!

One of my favourite Thai restaurant in Brisbane. Delicious food with speedy service. Reasonable price costed under $100 for four. Downside do not accept Amex, upside offers 5% off for cash payments.
Really enjoyable trip to Kinn Thai.Great atmospherea and nice and busy which is always a good sign. I had been meaning to try this place for a while.I love how the venue looks and is perfect for a group dinner or even just a nice date.We got the Panang Curry with Chicken and the Beef Massaman. They were both beautiful, and cooked to perfection. I would like to come back with a big group and do a banquet where we just order heaps of food and try a little bit of everything! 😀 Perhaps over Xmas.
