My Carvery has two locations in Garden City (upstairs & downstairs foodcourt) – after trying both I conclude that they are both roughly the same in terms of flavour and portions. I love ordering the roast dinners – I usually get a small plate of the roast pork with the roast vegetables and gravy. The roasted vegetables include potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and beans. They are all roasted perfectly and go so well with the gravy. The pumpkin is my favourite! The gravy is optional but I find it goes really well with the dish otherwise the meat can sometimes become a little dry.One of my favourite things is visiting My Carvery at about 4-5pm on weekdays to order some of their reduced price boxed meals. There are many pre-packed boxes of food ready to eat. There are heaps of roast dinners, pasta dishes and so many more! The special is 1 for $5, 2 for $8, 3 for $10 and 4 for $12. This is so worth it especially if you’re on your way home from work and need a quick fix for dinner! All of the boxes are pre-packaged so you cant choose what exactly you want but you can choose from the selection given.Would highly recommend for a lunch or quick dinner fix for cheap!

When ever I have bought a potato stuffed with topping anywhere else they have always been BAKED or crispy at least. My daughter and I ordered one each and the skin was falling off them and they tasted like they had been steamed or boiled. Apart from that they had plenty of topping.
Walking into the Food Court I am hankering for a meaty brunch. I check out My Carvery and decide on a medium sized Roast Beef Meal ($11.90) and Phuong Tran prefers a lighter Bacon & Eggs Meal ($8.90). We opt to share a Cappuccino ($2). I pick up our meal from the counter 8 minutes later. Im surprised by the generous serve of roast beef and I see three big bacon rashers on my partners plate. Yum! I know one of those rashers will be mine!Our experience here is at odds with my fellow reviewers. I really enjoyed my roast meal, plenty of meat and roast veges, including one bacon rasher. My partner finishes her meal with a smile. The $2 coffee is surprisingly good. A superior brew to some fancy Brisbane Cafes. Good food and cheap, an unbeatable combination. Service is prompt, friendly and all the counter girls I spoke to converse in English. We will be back!
