I noticed this Vietnamese shop right next to kebab shop outside eight street. Since i wanted some solid meal I decides to give them a go.Order went smoothly and after waiting for five minutes or so my food was ready. As soon as i was handed over my food on tray but I was nervous to dig in. It was just this brown wilted mint on top of pho…Well, I told myself other elements can be good so i simply put dead mint aside and decided to dig in.One sip of soup base, it tasted like it was made from instant soup cube. Oily, artificial and bland. Noodle was cooked ok.Plenty of beef meat balls on top which was good and at least bean sprouts were fresh.Overall, it was cheap at $9.50 a bowl but I would happily pay more to have better tasting food.
Newly opened, downstairs on level 1 food court, there is plenty of competition here. They are right on the corner making it easy to find.Plenty of choose from the menu, banh mi, pho, rice paper rolls, sliders and salads, Vietnamese food.Today we went with thr classic banh mi, roast pork slider and chicken salad. Service was friendly, after ordering got a number. It wasnt too long before we got our food.Banh mi was on par, well balanced with a touch of chilli, slider was good, bun was nice and fluffy, roast pork tender.
